Dr. Ryan Johnson PT, DPT, CSCS

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

"My ultimate goal is to help you reach a higher level of performance than you were at prior to injury by addressing the injury and identifying and correcting other deficits."

Ryan is a Sports Physical Therapist with certifications that include the CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and XPS Sports performance and Rehabilitation. Sports Physical Therapy is Ryan’s passion, and during his time at the University of Miami, he surrounded himself with leaders of athletic rehabilitations in the industry. Dr. Johnson specializes in bridging the gap between injury and performance. Dr. Johnson has created hundreds of specialized treatment plans for elite athletes that includes the NBA Draft Combine preparation for 2023 and 2024 seasons, the 2023 NFL Combine, NFL offseason 23-24, PGA, LPGA, and NHL. His experience includes internships with FAU football for strength and conditioning, the University of Miami football team for rehabilitation, and the University of Miami for Baseball Screening. Ryan served as a founder and president of the University of Miami's 90-member sports physical therapy group, organizing and hosting nationally recognized lectures, and was one of five student liaisons in Florida for the American Association of Sports Physical Therapy which is the governing body for sports physical therapy.

Growing up in Portland, OR, Ryan attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry and the University of Miami for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He is also a published cancer researcher for his work on Acute Myeloid Leukemia from his time at Oregon Health & Science University. Ryan enjoys Olympic and functional weight lifting, jogging, basketball, and football, as well as traveling, snorkeling, reading non-fiction, wine, and charcuterie.
