Dr. Bryan Eng is a Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from Philadelphia, PA. Bryan’s road to becoming a physical therapist began at Temple University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. During this time, he was an active fighter on the United States National Team for Taekwondo. Bryan has earned numerous titles including Pan-American Champion, National Champion, and Vice World Champion throughout his athletic career. He also had the privilege of becoming the strength coach and fight coach for national competitors out of Philadelphia.

In 2022, Bryan earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Rutgers University. While at Rutgers, Bryan presented at the prestigious Combined Sections Meeting, a national physical therapy conference. Bryan and his team’s presentation showed the effects of Blood Flow Restriction Training on different populations and its effects on function.

Prior to his time at Alkemē Spports RX, Bryan worked at a clinic specializing in core muscle injuries in Philadelphia. During this time, he was able to work closely with recreational, collegiate, and professional athletes as they progressed through their rehab.

Bryan specializes in manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilizations, thrust manipulations, blood flow restriction training, as well as instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizations such as cupping. Bryan’s unique treatment approach blends aspects of strength and conditioning, manual therapy, and an individualized patient centered approach to help people of all walks of life achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Bryan enjoys many hobbies, including martial arts, traveling, painting, hiking, and spending far too much time at the gym.
