PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

“I strive to get you back to doing what you love with a passionate, educated, and individualized approach towards your treatments to get you feeling better, moving better, and performing better than when you first came in.”

Chris is a Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Certified Personal Trainer from Jupiter, FL. He began his path to becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Services. During his studies, Chris worked as a Personal Trainer and Physical Therapist Technician. He also competed on and coached Florida Gulf Coast University’s Powerlifting team, becoming a nationally qualified competitor in the 205-pound weight class. Chris created training programs for the team, focusing on fatigue management, progressive overload, transitioning between seasons, and ensuring quality movement mechanics.

Chris's hands-on experience in multiple orthopedic and sports physical therapy clinics during his time as an undergraduate and in Physical Therapist Assistant school along with his background as a personal trainer prepared him well for his role as a Sports Physical Therapist Assistant. In 2023, he earned his Associate in Science in Physical Therapist Assistant Honors from Broward College and received the Irene Fischley Award for Excellence. This award recognized his professionalism, empathy, clinical knowledge, and dedication to continued learning. He furthered his expertise by attending seminars and training with top powerlifters to enhance his biomechanics knowledge.

Chris completed his final clinical rotation at Palm Beach Orthopedic Institute, where he worked with high school athletes and some collegiate athletes on their rehab from post-operative stages to returning to their sports.

Before joining Alkeme Sports Rx, Chris worked at a clinic in Fort Myers specializing in orthopedics, balance and stability improvement, and neuromuscular re-education for athletes at various levels. Chris specializes in manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilizations and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilizations like cupping and Graston. His treatment approach combines individualized patient care, manual therapy, and strength and conditioning principles. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, relaxing at the beach, watching and playing sports, snorkeling, traveling, and watching movies.
