Sami is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Sports Physical Therapist who specializes in helping athletes move better, get stronger, and return to sport with confidence. Originally from New Jersey, he has extensive experience treating orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions across a wide range of athletic populations, from high school and D1 collegiate athletes to post-surgical and competitive individuals.

Sami is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and holds certifications in Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction Training. He is trained in spinal manipulation through the Institute of Clinical Excellence and is proficient in movement analysis using the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). His clinical experience includes developing an ACL return-to-sport protocol, assisting as a strength and conditioning coach for elite high school football players, and preparing multiple professional and amateur MMA fighters for competition. He is also trained in concussion management using the Buffalo Protocol and has administered VOMS testing and on-field care for local soccer academies. Additionally, Sami has led multiple injury prevention and mobility workshops for winter athletes and high school sports teams.

Sami earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University in 2020, where he served as a director of the student-run pro bono clinic and co-authored a systematic review on speed-based training in individuals with Parkinson’s disease. He completed his undergraduate degree in Health & Exercise Science at Syracuse University, where he was president of the club gymnastics team and competed nationally. His background also includes research experience in oncology and years working as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.

Sami believes in a comprehensive, individualized approach to rehabilitation addressing pain, movement quality, muscle imbalances and joint dysfunction, lifestyle factors, and consistency to create long lasting adaptations and reduce the risk of re-injury.

Outside the clinic, Sami lives a physically active and adventurous lifestyle. He enjoys playing soccer, hiking at different national parks, paddleboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, and reading.
